Video games are pretty sweet! They always prove to be an awesome addition to your library of fun, they can sometimes be a little too difficult, but usually in the end – every video can be conquered! The neat thing about video games is that they keep getting better graphics. Even back in the 1990′s games where getting better and better graphics. Now it’s getting to the point where video games are indistinguishable from a movie or even real life – thanks to high definition video and video processing capabilities.
Some of the newest games, games that haven’t even come out yet, will feature some amazing advancements in video gaming graphics technology. For years, even with modern games, a technology called geometric based art form has been used to create the stunning graphics we see. However, there has been a lingering technology resting in the background. The new technology which has yet to be fully or even partially implemented is known as cell shading and cell processing. It’s actually pretty sweet – the game is created with “cells” that each conduct their own state of being. Graphics power has never been powerful enough to fully implement this technology – until now.
